You are now watching: 2010 Lemesos International Documentary Festival

  • KiprosTV is an initiative to support the Arts & Culture of Cyprus. You can be part of it! You too can help us to continue to produce such videos for the local community.
  • “Its one of the coolest festivals I have ever been too!” – Lixin Fan, director of ‘Last Train Home’

Once again hundreds of people have gathered to watch a series of award winning films in a cinema located in the old part of Limassol, home for Cyprus’ biggest film festival.

This video showcases highlights from the festival as well as advise from important individuals that work for highly acclaimed international institutions such as the BBC and ARTE who have attended ‘Docs Talk’, the festival’s workshop for documentary film makers. Here they share their thoughts and advice as to what needs to change in Cyprus in order for local film makers to manage to reach out to the international market.
