On the 10th of April, 2010 Nicosia was part of an international street art event called Wallpeople. On that day a large photo mural was created by many people who came to put up their photos on the old Venetian wall of Cyprus’ capital city.
As Manuela Costabile, the event organizer explains: The aim is to claim the street as an open space to create art.”
