Skateboarding in Cyprus
While skateboarding is a rapidly growing sport and is becoming a part of our contemporary culture, young skaters face an important issue by not having any public skate parks on the island. At the same time they are being pushed away by many of the public spaces in which they use to exercise and practice their skills. ‘King of Skate’ was an event organized by ‘eXtreme Cyprus’ and took place in Ayia Napa. We visited them in order to catch up with some of the skaters.
